It can be hard to leave Sunny Coast Resort. The outdoor swimming pool is cooled by the Mediterranean sea breeze, with lots of space to sunbathe or lounge in the shade. A private rocky beach area is exclusive to guests and has easy access to warm blue waters. Three hot tubs are equally well positioned, perfect for relaxing in comfort while enjoying the view. Within the resort you’ll also find a range of sports facilities, an indoor pool and a spa.
All the apartments have a fashionable design, blending Mediterranean colours with contemporary Maltese flair. Each has a fully equipped kitchenette and the Sunny Coast Resort has become a very popular choice for long-stay holidays on the coast. The private balconies are a place to unwind and to dine, with the sea view apartments well worth the extra price as they have uninterrupted vistas.
From Sunny Coast Resort you gaze out across beautiful Qawra Bay, on the quieter side of the St. Paul’s Bay resort town. Take two steps from the resort and you’re on the coastal promenade, which stretches around the pinnacle to the aquarium and other attractions. A 15-minute walk inland brings you to the restaurants and bars of Bugibba. With a bus stop and harbour nearby it’s easy to explore the rest of the island, before returning to the hot tubs and balcony for a quiet evening.
The complex has three outstanding restaurants, each serving quality food and wine for very competitive prices. There’s a South African grill, two Mediterranean seafood restaurants, and an authentic Indian curry house. Two chic bars are a great place to start the evening before heading out in Qawra.
Is there any better place to relax in Qawra than the Sunny Coast Resort hot tubs? Probably not. And the hot tubs are just one of the soothing places to unwind. There’s an indoor swimming pool, a vast outdoor pool complex, and the private beach.
