The Gillueru Harbour Hotel has always found a nice balance between Maltese traditions and the expectations of international holidaymakers. Positioned on the waters edge at St. Paul’s Bay, it’s a quiet and good-value hotel for a holiday under the sun.
You can watch the fishermen unload their catch from the sea view rooms. A historic chapel crumbles softly on one side of the hotel. The cute fishing harbour feels like the Malta of old. And while the hotel has been around for generations, it’s been continually updated to provide modern comfort. The restaurant specialises in seafood. Local fishermen deliver their fresh catch to the hotel every day and the chefs have grown up grilling seafood. There’s also a small lounge bar and a whole variety of restaurants within a short walk.
Standing adjacent to the Mediterranean waters, the swimming pool area combines the cooling breeze of the sea with superb views across the bay. There are two outdoor pools and there’s a quiet atmosphere for most of the year.
